Grades 7 & 8 Visit Kupferberg Holocaust Center at Queensborough C. C.

Last week, our seventh and eighth graders visited the Kupferberg Holocaust Center at Queensborough Community College. There, our students got to listen to a Holocaust survivor, who told of her first-hand experience as a child during the Kindertransport. They also got a tour of the center’s new exhibit, “Conspiracy of Goodness,” which highlights the villagers of Le Chambon, France who rescued many Jewish children.
